Ever since I can remember, I have been inspired by women.

The first book report I remember doing was a biography assignment, and I chose Deborah Sampson, a woman who found a way to fight in the American Revolution. Growing up, I watched my mother and both of my grandmothers run their own businesses. I spent many summers attending and then working at an all-girls camp in New Hampshire, working my way up from Junior Counselor to the Director of the Counselor-in-Training program. My first degree is in World History, and I wrote my thesis on the portrayal of women in the media in World War II. When I realized I wanted to become a nurse, it was only natural for me to focus on women’s health.

Once in the healthcare field, I saw first-hand how behind medicine is when it comes to caring for women. So often my patients have told me stories of feeling misunderstood, condescended to, dismissed and gaslit by their clinicians, the very people they should be able to trust most with their health. I feel so privileged to be a part of changing this experience, and honored that you have chosen me to partner with to improve not just your lifespan, but your healthspan. I can’t wait to get started!
